This is from the amazing Whats the Jackonary.com  so go there, and find out what is the jackonary.

The Audrey

I love this photograph. It makes it seem like any woman can capture Audrey Hepburn's iconic style.

Back to Basics

This beautiful photograph by Helen Levitt shows three children about to go out on the the town in New York city. I love looking at the clothes that the children are wearing. Her captivating photographs memorialize an era of New York when suit jackets and saddle shoes were appropriate dress when playing outside and even the style of children had to be impeccable.

I would WEAR all of these...

I recently came across this photograph of Ken doll shoes. All of them are fabulous. Did they ever make a MySize Barbie Ken doll? I would wear all of these. Even the flippers.

If She Were a Cartoon, This Is What She Would Wear Every Day

She found that sweater at the Salvation Army thrift store on Bedford Ave in Williamsburg just a couple of weeks ago. How great are those socks? They tip the outfit over the edge from awsome to totally rad. She said if she were a cartoon, this would be what she would wear every day.

Get Thrifty

A cool outfit doesn't have to cost a mint. This whole outfit cost around $60. Necklace-Target $4. Sweater- Madewell $40. Skirt and Belt- H&M $12. And my Grandmother approved.

A Little Gossip Girl Never Hurt Anyone

The bow matches the jumper perfectly. Taking a much too long jumper, and turning the extra fabric into a fabulous accessory is the kind of brilliance this girl comes up with. While some would say being so matchy is a fashion don't, I think it is a fashion must this season, thanks to Gossip Girl's Blair Waldorf. Her school girl ensembles, tied together with a side bow, prove that one might never be too old for such things.

You know you love it. xoxo
